We are excited to celebrate our Summer Readers at the Summer Reading Finale. This Saturday, join us for lunch & hanging out with a traveling petting zoo. We will be handing out prizes to our Most Minutes Read in the following age categories: 0-7, 8-12, 13-17, 18 and up, overall 0-12 and overall 13 and up. We will also be awarding prizes to our shelf completers who turned in their reading logs.
These items are only available from the West Fork Public Library and cannot be shipped to other libraries in Washington County. *Your library account must be in good standing to check out this item. Please call the library to reserve.
Our telescope is available for a 3 day check out usually on the weekends. Depending on the season, there may be a wait list. Please ask a librarian. At time of check out, there are a few key steps to having a fun time with your telescope that we will share with you. Request.
You can have access to the internet in most places when you check out our wifi hotspot. Our hotspot is small, portable, and connects with most devices.
Activity backpacks are designed to encourage reading, speaking, listening and developing skills though activities. We theme each backpack so that the books and activities are related. We try to keep some of the activities open-ended to encourage creativity.
Every backpack includes at least three books and 2 activities. There are directions for the activities but feel free to change things up. The backpacks also include a sheet that explains the skills being developed and why they are important
